Join the Washington State Chefs Association for an extraordinary evening celebrating culinary excellence. Enjoy a five-course tasting dinner prepared by talented chefs, featuring dishes ranging from an amuse-bouche trio to apple braised beef cheek and white chocolate mousse. The evening begins with a cocktail hour from 5:00–6:00 PM, followed by dinner and a presentation from 6:00–8:00 PM at the beautiful Olympic Country & Golf Club in Olympia.

Join us for an exciting tofu-focused culinary competition! The day begins with a tofu educational segment led by Chef Makini at 10 AM. At 11 AM the mystery basket is revealed, and the competition starts at 11:30 AM. Teams of 2 chefs or students have 90 minutes to create one exceptional dish using Makini's premium tofu. Awards ceremony at 1 PM recognizes best student dish and best professional dish. FREE admission for all attendees.

Experience a celebration of duck preparations from Washington's top chefs. Teams of 2 chefs or students compete to create 150 appetizer portions during a 2-hour grazing period. Prizes awarded for best student dish and best professional dish. FREE admission with raffle prizes. Network with industry professionals, taste exceptional cuisine, and celebrate culinary creativity. Complimentary bites provided by Harbor Foodservice.

The annual Bite of the Apprentice is WSCA's signature culinary competition and fundraiser. Date, time, and location will be announced. Stay tuned for details on this exciting competition showcasing apprentice talent. Competitors present one to two-bite hors d'oeuvres in an action-station style service. Attendees vote for People's Choice while professional judges award Judges' Choice and Best High School categories.
