We're excited to share that you can now donate to the Washington State Chefs Association directly on our website. Giving is simple, secure, and comes with an official tax receipt every time — whether you give once or set up ongoing support.
Choose Where Your Gift Goes
- General Fund (Unrestricted) — Goes wherever the need is greatest, giving WSCA the flexibility to support our programs year-round.
- Apprentice to the ACF National Convention (Restricted) — Helps send a Washington apprentice to the American Culinary Federation's National Convention.
- Culinary Student Scholarship Fund (Restricted) — Directly funds scholarships for culinary students getting their start.
We use restricted funds only for their stated purpose. The General Fund goes where it's needed most.
Give Your Way
- One-time or recurring — Make a single gift, or set up an automatic monthly or every-three-months gift that sustains our programs all year.
- Suggested amounts or your own — Pick a suggested amount for each fund, or enter any amount you choose (gifts start at $5).
- Credit or debit card, or PayPal — Pay by card for one-time or recurring gifts, or use PayPal for one-time gifts.
Cover the fees (optional) — Add a small amount at checkout so WSCA receives 100% of your intended gift. It's always your choice.
Planning a larger gift? For gifts above $25,000, a corporate sponsorship, or a bequest, just contact us and we'll help direct it.
Every Gift Is Tax-Deductible
- WSCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
- The system automatically emails an official PDF tax receipt for every gift, including each installment of a recurring gift.
- Recurring donors also receive a merged year-end giving statement each January for the prior tax year.

- Sign in to your free WSCA account to give — this keeps every gift and receipt tied to your record.
- See your full giving history any time under Profile → Giving.
- Update the card on a recurring gift, or pause/cancel it, whenever you like — no phone calls, no waiting.
- Re-email any past receipt to yourself with one click.
Your Security
Square, our payment processor, stores your card details securely and never stores them on WSCA's own servers.
