Presidents Award Dinner at the Broadmoore Golf Club - March 2008 In March 2008, we had an exciting night and a fun, creative and great dinner at the Broadmoore Golf Club, the site of our Presidents Award Dinner. Congratulations Janet Shaffer on being named Chef of the Year for 2007. Janet Shaffer was named Chef of the Year leaving her literally speechless, and later e-mailing us what an honor it is to be a part of our association in being chosen Chef of the Year. The Purveyor of the Year Award was given to SYSCO, represented by Chef Rob Nathe, for its many contributions to our community through the association and also Chef Nathes’ commitment as a member of the board for our association. AMERICAN CULINARY FEDERATION 2008 AWARD NOMINEES 3 FROM OUR CHAPTER Herman G. Rusch Chef’s Achievement Award - Chef Educator of the Year - Student Culinarian of the Year - These award nominees are moving forward to the final selection process to represent the Western Division at Nationals.
