On November 27, 2007, the Apprenticeship Class at South Seattle Community College with Instructor Chef Christopher Harris held “The Best Turkey Sandwich – Ever” contest. This was a great event. Each and every one of the sandwiches were DELICIOUS, winner on not.

Debra Chavez of Wolfgang Puck’s at Eurest - the fabulous turkey crepe

Ryan Hatcher of Tacoma Country and Golf Club - with bacon, turkey ++

Second Place Winners (also a tie):

Andrew Laung of the Bellevue Marriot - Pita bread, hand-shredded turkey breasts/thigh meats, topped with Swiss cheese and baby spinach leaves, garnish with halved cherry tomatoes. 

Ben Herreid of Marzano’s in Spanaway - Thai turkey salad sandwich on peanut bread with apple, peanuts, craisins and thai chile sauce.
